I joined TeamUp as a co-founder in 2025. Right now, we’re focused on growing the business and improving the experience for accounting firms and candidates.
Bean Ninjas
I founded Bean Ninjas in 2015. These days, I’m rethinking the business for an AI-first world, with our focus now on the US and UK.
A lot of my attention is going into rethinking our marketing, content and the way the business operates.
Air Accounting
Bean Ninjas entered a strategic partnership with Air Accounting in 2024. I now work with Air on the eCommerce accounting portfolio in Australia.
What I’m learning
I’m spending a lot of time learning how to build with AI.
It started with wanting to rethink our marketing systems and quickly turned into experimenting with websites, Claude, coding tools and new ways of working.
I’m particularly interested in what happens when non-technical people can start building things themselves, and what that changes about how small businesses are run.
I’m still figuring it out. I’m keeping notes as I go and writing about what I learn.

- Planning Fireside in Manila, TeamUp’s annual event for accounting firm owners
Outside work
Life outside work mostly revolves around my young family and getting outdoors.
We live near the beach, so I try to make time for swimming, riding, walking and being outside with my family whenever I can.
